Boarding Services

As bird owners ourselves, we know how hard it is to leave town for even a few days, so we're happy to offer Boarding Services to the Denver / Boulder community.

If you're interested in boarding with us, here are the details and fine print you'll need to know:

  • We board birds at our facility in Boulder Colorado. We normally don't pick up or deliver birds or do housesitting (sorry), but do let us know if you have an unusual situation and we'll try to help.
  • We only board "household" birds, not poultry or wildlife (sorry), but if you have an unusual situation let us know and we'll try to find someone who can help.

  • Our current rate is $12 per night per cage (a cage may have multiple birds). Discounts are available for extended stays and special circumstances. Unusual requests may incur additional charges.

  • We are happy to supply cages of various sizes for your bird's stay, or you can bring your own.

  • We normally feed our standard Tropical Bird Supply diet of cooked grains and vegetables plus various healthy additions. We're more than happy to accommodate your special diet or medication requirements.

  • Due to space and licensing limitations we are currently limiting our guests to three birds at a time. If you have more than this please fill out the form anyway; we can suggest alternatives.

  • For birds who have NOT boarded with us in the past, we would like to see proof of a veterinary check within the last year.

  • Once scheduled it's no problem if you change your plans, but please let us know as early as possible so we can accommodate others who may be waiting.

Please note that filling out the form is not a confirmation. We will contact you after you submit the form to confirm that we can accommodate your needs. If we can't, we'll do our best to suggest alternatives.
